The waves were flat &amp; low and too many people in the water for fishing, so I stopped by the Surfrider tent - which is always 2:00 at SPI beach access 14 on Sundays. Cool peeps, and this sand castle was right out in front, even cooler. <br /><br />Ah, the perfect dog days of summer on a mid-July Sunday. Need I say more?<br /><br />But hot? Goodness, the only way to survive is to jump in the water, and then sit in the shade of a fold-out cabana. This can actually make you feel cold sometimes if there's a breeze, goose bumps even.
