What will be recycled?
Allied Waste: plastic, cardboard, tin cans, aluminum cans, and newspaper
Radio Shack: rechargeable batteries
Wal-Mart: plastic bags
H.E.B.: plastic bags and will have a limited quantity of free reusable HEB canvas bags
Home Depot: florescent light bulbs and power tool batteries
Lion’s Club of Los Fresnos: eyeglasses
SPI Chamber of Commerce: ink & toner cartridges and cell phones
SPI Code Enforcement: cell phones, rechargeable batteries
Food Bank: non – perishable food

They will provide recycling information and demonstrate the impact of trash on our environment. Wal-Mart will be donating 100 reusable shopping bags. The Chamber will have a drawing for recyclers that bring ink/tonercartridges and cell phones.
SPI Gardens will be holding its Fall Plant Swap during the event.
